Erma Jean’s Greens is a family-owned apothecary based out of Valdosta, GA. The herbal store is owned by a mother and her son: Erma and Cameron.

The tree that would grow into Erma Jean’s Green began to take root in 2016 when Cameron completed his academic and college basketball career and began to study herbalism.

His quest for truth and wisdom led him to discover the teachings of a man named Alfredo Bowman.

Alfredo Bowman was a man from Honduras who was raised on the side of a mountain, having virtually no laboratory experience or any extensive education at all. After facing morbid obesity and erectile dysfunction at age 30, Fred met a man from Mexico who told him that if he did not change his eating and drinking habits, he would not live much longer. After fasting on nothing but natural spring water for 60 days, he lost over180-pounds and was completely healed. That was the birth of the man who would grow to become Dr. Sebi.

Dr. Sebi would go on to help people all over the world heal from their various “diseases”, which Dr. Sebi considered as simply mineral deficiencies, resulting in the compromise of the body’s mucuous membrane.

Public figures such as Barack Obama, Shaquille O’neal, Left Eye and many others sought out Dr. Sebi to receive mentorship as much as the healing herbs that would alleviate their various issues. There was even an instance in which Dr. Sebi accompanied Michael Jackson to Capitol after assisting his babysitter, Grace Rwaramba, in healing from lupus (her symptoms disappeared in just 4 days).

After gaining popularity and national reputability, Dr. Sebi was charged in a federal indictments for practicing medicine without a license.

Many people felt that this was coporate sabotage, as Dr. Sebi’s holistic methods posed a threat to the monopoly of the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Sebi showed up to court with over 70 character witnesses who testified that Alfredo Bowman was not impersonating a doctor or practicing medicine; he simply invited people to his village to eat and when they left his village, they were healthy.

During the trial, Assistant Attorney General Barclay revealed that two undercover agents were sent to the institute on two separate occasions in an attempt to entrap Dr. Sebi into making medical diagnoses.

After being briefed, the undercover agents were wired with a small tape recorder. The tape recording, submitted into evidence by Barclay, failed to convince the jury that Dr. Sebi did in fact make a medical diagnosis. One agent's testimony, under cross examination by Dr .Sebi’s defense lawyer; clearly stated that he did not receive the response from that would constitute a medical diagnosis.

The same charges that were meant to destroy Dr. Sebi’s reputation actually had the opposite effect: it catapulted him even further into the public eye and won him the favor of the people. The Usha Village in Honduras became a world-renowned center for healing.

In June 2016, Dr. Sebi was attempting to board a private plane when he was arrested by Honduran federal law enforcement officers who accused him of money-laundering. He was taken to jail in Honduras, where he mysteriously died in police custody.

Dr. Sebi’s legacy is survived by his former wives, good friends and children. The forerunner of all his children who are continuing their father’s efforts to heal God’s people is his 24th child, Victor Bowman.

Victor withdrew from high school at age 15 under the persuasion of his father who sought his assistance in the Usha Village. Since then, he has established herbal stores in America and continues to give lectures and free healing herbs throughout the nation.

Cameron was fortunate enough to meet Victor in Atlanta during the summer of 2023, and the two young men have gained a mutual fondness for one another as time has progressed.

Now, Cameron has invested in his own supply of rich-soil, high-quality herbs and has taken the initiative to enlighten his people and provide them with the remedies that can alleviate their collective suffering.
